We are seeking motivated individuals to perform a variety of tasks in any number of areas in the operation including receiving, freezer, sanitation, deboning (by machine), and storage; by performing the following tasks:
Perform routine tasks involved in producing, assembling, inspecting, testing, or shipping a product
Load raw material into machinery that may grind, emulsify, mechanically debone, mix/blend and/or plate freeze product. Operate a series of control switches. Starts grinder and observe product flow for jams or blockages. Keep machine continuously supplied with product
Inspect product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelines
Discard incidental waste, that cannot be processed, into bins or other containers for proper disposal
Operate process hose to pump product into plate freezer; hand pack; and insert dividers (when required) to separate product during processing
Pull blocks of frozen product from plate freezers by hand and physically slide product along rail and hand stack onto pallets
Perform sanitation of machines and floors using high pressure hose and other tools to ensure that our equipment and facility is kept clean and hygienic
Wrap, weigh, mark, and label processed items according to standard protocol
Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)
Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company at the assigned location
Adhere, support, and enforce all company policies and procedures
Comply with all food safety/quality related programs and procedures accordingly to support GFSI and regulatory standards
Ability to learn to operate forklift or pallet jack to move or retrieve supplies for production line or for storage (if trained and certified to operate forklifts and pallet jacks)
Inspect all pallets to ensure proper packaging, labeling, size, etc. in accordance with customer specifications and company policies. Take core samples as necessary. Scan each pallet label using handheld barcode reader and print shipping labels and attach to each pallet as per load instructions
Select, organize, and load pallets on trailers for all outgoing loads. Ensure loads are properly secured for shipment and within acceptable weight ranges. Ensure trailers are properly sealed with the seal provided by Company. Document all quality control procedures performed.
Store finished product in freezer according to storage guidelines. Conduct inventory and cycle counts.
Receive incoming frozen material that has been approved by management. Weight, prepare, and attach barcode label to each incoming pallet prior to placing material in freezer storage or per other procedure as determined by Plant Manager. Deliver labels and related incoming documents to office.
Ability to learn and operate the automated palletizer machine or manual palletizing process. Process may include:
Properly placing pallets in place to feed machine
Enter commands to start machine, watch and follow sequences and monitors for malfunctions, errors and obstructions that may interfere with proper operation. Correct machine settings using preprogrammed settings, or correcting obstructions and sensor activity.
Prepare proper production forms or reports noting weight of product using NEMO -computerized inventory system
Changes wrap film, removes waste from conveyors, checks pallet quality and loads pallet stacking station.
Controls weights and traceability of product, bags pallet with correct liners, supplies slip sheets and fills liquid containers with charcoal or red dye.
Checks and controls label information and operates traceability system.
Remove cardboard from frozen product using box cutter or other tool
Sort pallets and discard broken pallets and other pallets not conforming to company guidelines.
Remove trash
Participate in job and safety training offered and required by the Company
Maintain good housekeeping of work areas
Other duties as assigned

Main Responsibilities:
Set up and operate taping machines to insulate aluminum and copper wire based on order specifications for insulation type, width, thickness of layers, and footage.
Perform first hour duties including, but limited to:
Complete oven process control change card (Blue Card)
Check all drawing dies; with special attention to the finish die and lube nozzles for plugging and misdirection.
Change finish die felt and check vibration dampener.
Check enamel flow on all ovens.
Inspect Lear heads to make sure they are on and the wire is running through the reeds, and verify alignment.
Check bare wire supply.
Report any set deficiencies to your Group Leader or Supervisor
Identify scrap wire with the appropriate documentation. If determination on wire cannot be made, wire should be placed in the disposition square for determination.
ODQ all finished product.
Change lube felts on changeovers, ox jobs, and once per month by plants guidelines or as needed.
Complete all changeovers, conversions, start-ups and spec/package changes.
Complete operations oven checklists
Correct all red tags, trouble slips, and ODQ issues promptly.
Put downed wires (ox jobs) back on production.
Communicate any maintenance issues to Group Leader/Supervisor to ensure works orders are written for anything that needs repaired.
Change scotch rites in bare wire clamps on required ovens as needed.
Complete all necessary quality tests.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
Setup set for next operator/shift.
