Job Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for leading machine set-ups and changeovers, problem-solving, making decisions on machine adjustments, and inspecting and packaging finished products to customer specifications. Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Transport, operate, and service heavy equipment used in clearing railroad derailments
Perform laborer/groundsman duties as needed
Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used
Safely drive, operate, and maintain CDL-A required vehicles and equipment
Follow DOT regulations, ensuring proper permits and driving regulations are followed
Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
Communicate with team and supervisor throughout the job process
What does it take to be a Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer for R. J. Corman?
Mobility to participate in frequent travel and be on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies
Must live within 45 minutes of the R. J. Corman shop
Must pass background, drug screen, and physical capacity test
Possess current CDL-A and DOT medical card (preferred)
Requires lifting of up to 100lbs in performance of duties
Love working outside!

As a Reversing Mill Operator at Steel Technologies, you will plan machines to mill steel, align parts and pieces for production equipment, set equipment controls, and monitors equipment. It's important for you to be detailed and consistent in order to ensure only the best result for our customers. We rely on this position to continuously meet quality and customers standards.
How you'll contribute to our company:
* Make mill set-up including work roll changes to ensure compliance with production instructions
* Reconcile coil identity to production and load coil
* Set-up Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) system
* Thread coil through mill, cropping non-compliance material
* Assure material compliance with all order instructions
* Document all inspection data
* Monitor coil for shape, finish, gauge (using AGC) running at maximum line speed to assure with order compliance
* Check gauge and surface when coil is finished
* Band/secure coil and identify coil in compliance with production
* Attach histogram to production as required from AGC
* Remove finished coil from recoiler
* Organize complete production documentation at order end and record production information, ensure accuracy
* Remove scrap from machine
* Clean machine and entire area

Position Overview: Loader Operator As a Loader Operator at Fenix Parts, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations by operating heavy equipment, moving vehicles and equipment throughout the yard, and maintaining inventory integrity. Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment, including commercial-sized forklifts with 14-foot forks and standard forklifts.
Yard Management: Move vehicles and equipment throughout the yard, monitor lot inventory and vehicle check-in, and respond to production, warehousing, and transportation needs.
Vehicle Staging: Unload car haulers and stage cars for the inventory department.
Dismantling Support: Support dismantling by bringing unprocessed cars to dismantlers and placing vehicles back in the yard.

Scrap Loading: Load scrap haulers with crushed cars that are ready for final disposal.
