Perform work as assigned utilizing routine and/or non-routine work cards and/or service bulletins within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and ZIM standards of quality with minimal assistance from supervisor.
Perform typical CNC and Manual fabrication shop operations; operate CNC/Manual routing and drilling machines (horizontal and vertical).
Fabricate and assemble aircraft interior parts and components as directed.
Perform layout and prepare shop drawings as required.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment as directed in the manuals.
Understand and maintain ZIM and customer aircraft maintenance documentation programs.
Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the ZIM Team Member Safety Manual.
Use and operate safely all appropriate hand tools and other machinery associated with the Interior Fabrication shop.
Read and use blueprints, and drawings and engineering orders.

Must have own tools as required by company tool list.
Minimum of 2 years as a CNC operator
Minimum of 2 years in interior fabrication
Flexible to work any shift and prolonged hours to meet schedule demands.

Learn and follow safety regulations.
Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.

Sunrock is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to support our Asphalt and Concrete operations. In this role, you will safely operate a front-end loader to load aggregate materials into customer and company haul trucks, manage stockpiles, and ensure uninterrupted material flow to asphalt and concrete plants.
This position requires attention to safety, efficiency, and quality, and plays a critical role in keeping production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a front-end loader to load aggregates into customer and inter-company haul trucks
Manage and maintain aggregate and recycled material stockpiles
Ensure asphalt and concrete plants are supplied with uncontaminated materials
Perform daily pre-shift inspections, fueling, greasing, and basic maintenance
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
Monitor inventory levels and communicate material needs with plant supervisors
Load trucks efficiently to meet production and customer demand
Follow all Sunrock, MSHA, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years of loader or heavy equipment operating experience
Ability to safely operate a front-end loader in a production environment
Basic understanding of aggregate materials and stockpile management
Ability to work flexible hours with no fixed schedule

Valid North Carolina Driver's License required

General Summary of the Position

The heavy equipment operator safely operates a variety of motorized equipment used in the preparation, repair, reconstruction, and construction of site work and asphalt paving projects. Essential Functions

Employee shifts start and end at the local division office/shop. Transportation to and from the job site is provided.

Although it does not occur very often, projects may require out of town overnight stays. Per diem pay is offered when these projects occur.
We provide double time pay for weekend work.
