Grind:

Deburr parts using buffing wheels to meet cosmetic and functional standards

About the role
Equipment Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tractors, RTVs and associated implements in the performance of tasks set out for them by Managers and Foremen of Treasury Wine Estates (TWE). Current valid CA driver's License required; referred heavy machinery certification.
Experience operating agriculture or construction type equipment and maintenance required.
Muse be able to pass physical and drug testing pre-hire.
Knowledge of vineyards and vineyard equipment or agricultural crops.
Two harvest seasons operating various types of tractors and mechanical farm equipment safely and effectively, preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry moderately weighted objects.
Able to be exposed to outdoor weather fluctuations including hot and cold, agricultural chemicals, dust, pollen, soil/mud, grease/oils/solvents.

As a Rewind Operator you will be responsible for operating a rewind machine to take large rolls from a press and break them down into smaller rolls following the customers specifications. You will follow specifications on the job ticket to complete the rolls to the right length, copy position, and core size. You will also be responsible for verifying quality of supplied rolls and reviewing product for defects to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. You may also box product or perform other finishing duties to ensure product is provided to shipping in an accurate and timely manner. Pay Range $19-$20
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review job work instructions/tickets and set up the rewind machine properly for the job, including blades, cores, and copy position.
Operate the rewind machine to break the large press rolls into finished customer rolls.
Review labels and rolls for quality and consistency.
Perform splices in which two rolls of the same product are taped together. Follow company procedures and requirements for verification of the product ID numbers and visual inspection with supervisor sign off.
Verify Core IDs for the finished rolls and place them inside and outside of the roll, following verification by the supervisor that the Core ID is correct.
Place finished rolls in the proper box, verifying the core and box IDs match, and place the box in the designated area for either shipping or stock products.
Communicate with Shift Supervisor, Production Manager, and/or Scheduler regarding issues with the label, including over or under runs, label quality, or ID number questions.
Maintain the work area and rewind machines in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed Fortis policies and safety regulations.
Additional duties as required.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The CNC Operator is responsible for producing precision components by setting up and operating CNC machines, performing basic tool and part offset adjustments, and inspecting parts to ensure they meet tight tolerances. This role requires loading and unloading parts, running programs safely and efficiently, and responding to quality issues as they arise. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of basic machining and part inspection principles.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CNC:
Operates CNC machines safety and efficiently, including loading/unloading parts, performing tool changes and touch-offs, and making basic tool and part offset adjustments as needed
Interprets and works from blueprints, part drawings and inspection documents to meet tight tolerances
Monitors machining operations for tool wear or process instability and adjusts as necessary
Performs routine machine checks, including coolant and lubrication levels, and assists with basic preventative maintenance
Ensure proper setup and alignment of workholding and fixturing to maintain part consistency
Communicate with team members, leads and programmers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Assist in training of less experienced operators as needed
Productivity:
Accurately log production time and quantities using time keeping and labor report software (LYNQ)
Read thoroughly and follow all “travelers” (work orders)
Maintain production and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner
Proactively manage time and tasks to ensure consistent productivity during shifts, minimizing workflow interruptions or delays to maintain smooth production operations.
Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency, and ensure timely completion of manufacturing goals, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction.
Safety & Environmental:
Comply with environmental, health, safety, and other plant guidelines.
Quality:
Perform regular inspections and quality checks on products and processes, ensuring all work meets established standards and specifications, while promptly identifying and addressing any defects or deviations to maintain the highest level of product quality.
Housekeeping/Maintaining a Clean Work Environment:
Maintain 6S practices.
Ensure work area is clean and organized.

Operate multiple machines simultaneously

Ability to operate all machines
Capable of doing set ups on all machines
Requirements:
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
Highschool diploma or GED preferred.
Certificate or degree in Machining, CNC Programming, Manufacturing or a related technical field is a plus.
Experience, Skills, Capabilities:
2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a production environment
Proficient in using standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, high gauges and comparators
Strong understanding of blueprints, part drawings and geometric tolerancing
Familiarity with quality control standards, documentation practices and shop safety protocols
Able to follow detailed work instructions and production schedules with minimal oversight
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with tooling, offsets or part loading
Basic computer skills and ability to use shop floor data collection software for job tracking and data entry

The Role
We're hiring Mission Operators to support our unmanned ground vehicle programs and ensure our platforms are ready to execute in the field. Mission Operators work under the direction of a Sr. Mission Operator and are responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and readiness of Scout's robotic systems and support equipment.
You'll spend most of your week in the field, conducting test missions, operating unmanned ground vehicles, and keeping our fleet in peak condition. This role is hands-on: you'll be driving, wrenching, towing, troubleshooting, and ensuring that when our engineers or operators need a platform, it's ready to go. Your work is the backbone that enables testing, data collection, and rapid iteration on cutting-edge autonomy.
Responsibilities
Operate unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and support vehicles during testing and data collection missions
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on UGVs, trailers, and support equipment
Support Sr. Mission Operator in executing mission test plans and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Handle logistics including vehicle prep, trailering, fueling, and field setup/breakdown
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues in the field and escalate when needed
Track equipment status, maintenance schedules, and readiness
Provide feedback to engineering and operations teams on vehicle performance and issues
Uphold high safety standards for personnel and equipment at all times
Qualifications
Hands-on experience operating and maintaining vehicles, robotics platforms, or heavy equipment
Comfortable driving off-road, towing trailers, and working in rugged environments
Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs
Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety
