Expedites repairs to the line working with maintenance as necessary. Keeps daily records of downtime and machine operations. Follows SOPs for all operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and rollers. Perform site preparation tasks including grading, trenching, and material movement. Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues. Follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to complete tasks accurately. Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with minor maintenance as needed. Work closely with laborers, foremen, and other operators to ensure project efficiency. Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic control procedures, and company policies. Assist with loading/unloading materials and other site duties when not operating equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and safety concerns.
