Quarry Loader/Operator The Quarry Truck Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to load customer trucks, manage material stockpiles, and oversee day-to-day yard operations. This role also includes assisting in supervising plant activities as needed and maintaining positive, professional interactions with customers on-site. The ideal candidate has strong equipment skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Operate a front-end loader to load customer trucks accurately and safely . Communicate directly with drivers and customers to ensure correct materials and load weights. Maintain organized, clearly marked stockpiles and loading areas. Assist with oversight of daily yard and plant operations as needed. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Ensure accurate recordkeeping for loads, tickets, and materials. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all site safety protocols. Assist with material inventory, traffic flow, and general yard maintenance. Supervise operations or personnel in the absence of the foreman or plant manager. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment (quarry or aggregate experience preferred). Prior experience loading customer trucks required. Customer service or dispatch experience (ability to interact professionally with truck drivers and customers). Previous supervisory or lead experience a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of aggregate materials, stockpile management, and safe loading practices. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication, organization, and safety awareness.
