As an Extruder Operator in our Vinyl Extrusion division, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing process-ensuring quality, safety, and performance every step of the way.

Responsibilities:
Operate 1-3 PVC profile extrusion lines to meet production and quality standards
Safely disassemble, clean, reassemble, and change over extrusion tooling sets using overhead crane tools
Perform visual inspections and take precise measurements using calipers to ensure product quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area-spray down equipment, sweep floors, and remove clutter
Complete reports on productivity, machine conditions, and finished goods using bundle tickets and work orders
Assist with packaging and forklift operations as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's degree/equivalent from a technical school or 6-12 months of related experience
Forklift certification
Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure documents
Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages, and bar graphs)
Problem-solving ability and comfort with detailed instructions
Tolerance for high-paced environments and multi-tasking scenarios
Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 100% of the time)
Regular lifting: up to 10 lbs; frequent lifting: up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting: up to 50 lbs
Use of hands for handling tools and machinery
Visual acuity for close-up work, color recognition, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Job DescriptionDescription:
Girard Resources & Recycling, LLC is currently taking applications for a Full-time position as a Retail Sales/Small Loader Operator at our scale house. We sell topsoil, bark, and aggregate products to residential and commercial companies. We are looking for individuals who are exceptionally driven with strong character, and an eagerness to join our team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete transactions through QuickBooks Point of Sale;
- Reconciliation of till;
- Answer phones;
- Schedule homeowner deliveries;
- Load landscape material into customer vehicles and trailers with small loader/backhoe;
- Assist with general retail yard maintenance;
- Interact with customers;
- Retail sales of landscape products;
- Complete product/tipping tickets for all imported and/or exported materials;
- Assist with daily company paperwork;
- Direct commercial/residential vehicles to appropriate areas for off-loading of materials.
Required Skills:
- Ability to operate computers with basic knowledge of Microsoft products and email;
- Ability of lift 25 pounds or more;
- Must keep an organized and professional appearance at all times;
- Good verbal and written communication skills are essential;
- Be self-motivated and reliable to meet performance standards;
- History of good employment attendance;
