Job Description Ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise and correct type of product is loaded and shipped Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with cherry picker Report quality issues on all products Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage Tag any open and/or damaged boxes on racks for safety Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory Unpack received products, count, weigh and/or sort items Mark and/or tag containers with identifying information Communicate problems with cherry picker, structures, or materials Pick orders by reading pick tickets, move products to the shipping area and operate RF scanners during order picking Inspect and complete the pre-shift inspection for the Cherry Picker Operate cherry picker to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as requested by Shipping Manager Assemble orders on pallet for shipment Carry or transport orders to staging locations Qualifications: Must be able to effectively communicate with Management and co-workers Great attention to detail Minimum one (1) year of recent experience operating a Cherry Picker Experience using RF Scanner Working conditions: Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to cold, heat, dust and loud noise. Push and pulling pallets and lifting products; Crouching is required up to 15% of the shift; Physical strength to handle up to 60+ pound object, frequently. Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance; above average endurance.
