Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: This position plays a key role in supporting a world-class Specialty Contact Lens Clinic, working closely with optometrists and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care, efficient operations, and accurate financial and insurance processes. Oversees contact lens orders, returns, and vendor credits; processes patient payments and rebates; tracks financial transactions and communicates updates to staff and providers. Ensures smooth clinic operations by monitoring schedules, billing processes, and resident clinic programs; supports efficient workflow and coordination across teams. Manages contact lens claims for medical insurance, VSP, BWC, VA, and self-pay patients; handles pre-determinations for medical contact lenses; ensures timely claim submission, payment, and resolution of discrepancies. Reviews monthly Workday reports, tracks clinic expenses, and builds master reports to ensure accurate provider billing and financial accountability. Responds to patient inquiries, assists with scheduling and insurance issues, and ensures proper documentation for contact lens services and payments. Responsibilities Ensure, organize, and maintain an active, accurate, and operational surgery schedule by coordinating all surgeries and procedures for assigned providers and service lines. Coordinate surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, schedule and coordinate pre-operative testing, communicate surgery orders, and collect necessary documentation for surgeries. Work closely with patients, physicians, staff and operating rooms to provide accurate, timely, and responsive scheduling. Provide administrative support. Solve routine and complex customer problems directs customers to address specific questions. Responsibilities Nutritional care at OSUP is individualized and based on the nutritional requirements of the patient which is why our Staff Dietitian role is a critical part of the patient's health care team. Outpatient Staff Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care to patients that may include nutrition assessment and care plan development and ongoing nutrition counseling and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures. Outpatient Staff Dietitians organize their work and set priorities to plan programs to meet the nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population they serve. They work collaboratively with clinic staff to identify nutrition priorities, develop outreach activities and complete nutrition program planning within the clinics they serve. Qualifications Qualified candidates will have Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered and licensed (state of Ohio) dietitian. Previous work experience as a dietitian is required. Specialty certification in area of practice where available preferred. Dietitians should have superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Strong customer service skills and high emotional intelligence are preferred. About the Position: The Medical Social Worker will work as a liason between patients, providers and staff to coordinate community services and resources for them. The candidate for this position will be working in a clinic setting, but they do operate autonomously from other Social Workers. They will serve as an advocate for the patient, as well as, a suport for their famliy members navigating care and emotional support. Referrals are processed in person and phone cntact with patients. Work with physician, staff and other health care team members to identify at risk populations (i.e., financial hardships, lack of transportation, abusive situations and malnutrition) and consult as necessary. Assess needs of identified patients and provide case management. Recommend interventions and implement a plan to assist the patient. Link patients with systems that will provide needed resources and opportunities. Provide coordination of community resources and maintain liaison with community agencies. Serve as liaison between each patient and staff, as well as community resources. Serve as patient advocate by coordinating services, involving the patient in a case plan. Educate Faculty Physicians, Residents and Staff of the referral process and community resources available to patients. Provide ongoing case management as needed. Provide excellent clinical services.
