Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Experience with clamp truck preferred.
* Move large paperboard rolls (1-1.5 tons) with a clamp truck to storage areas or to presses for consumption.
* Load and/or unload paperboard rolls from trucks and/or railcars.
* Read hot sheets, Bill of Lading BOL or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
* Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported to the customer.
* Perform inventory cycle counts.
* Perform Safe Quality Food (SQF) cleaning as required.
* Maintain storage areas to ensure that inventory is easily accounted for.
* Use RF gun to ensure proper product placement and track inventory.

Job Summary: Performs the inspection duties on materials received and moves materials to and from production areas to ensure an efficient production flow through the plant. Verifies prescribed accuracy levels within assigned inventory locations. Perform inventory transactions, including transfer and location audits.
Responsibilities:
Accurately receives incoming materials from a container. This includes but is not limited to stacking pallets, counting, wrapping, labeling.
Instruct temporary employees on how to stack inventory on a pallet.
Visually inspects (BOL) Bill of Lading and incoming parts and materials to ensure that the materials received are consistent with company requirements.
Accurately transports received materials to their appropriate storage areas.
Writes damage claim reports on incoming goods.
Performs cycle counting daily for different managers in the plant.
Maintains inventory and related warehouse information on the computer daily.
Operates material handling equipment to move skids to and from work areas and organizes and arranges material entering and leaving production areas.
Stores stock received in warehouse locations correspond to the warehouse computer.
Maintains stock levels in designated areas per supervisor's instructions.
Completes receiving, cycle counting, material handling related forms as required.
Participates in the recount team during floor counts.
Utilizes problem-solving methods to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Maintains effective working relationships with other associates.
Maintains positive attitude with delivery drivers.
Performs duties in a safe manner, using all approved safety equipment as instructed.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement.
Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross training and helping other departments and sites consistent with business needs.
Serves as a stopgap to the Receiving Department.
Serves as a back-up to Cycle Counting Department.
All other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or relevant skills
At least 18 years of age or older
Three months or equivalent experience in material handling with a strong math and organizational skills
An understanding of materials flow is preferred
Computer knowledge helpful
Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
Ability to effectively use power jack, pallet jack, calculator, electronic counting scale, 2-wheel hand cart, computer terminal, ladder, reach truck, order picker, RF data collection gun, automatic shrink wrapper.
Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. continuously and occasionally up to 75 lbs., sometimes in difficult work positions.
Must perform job with a high level of accuracy and follow standard procedures for completing inventory transactions. Strong problem-solving skills.

POSITION SUMMARY:
