Verifies prescribed accuracy levels within assigned inventory locations. Perform inventory transactions, including transfer and location audits. Responsibilities: Accurately receives incoming materials from a container. This includes but is not limited to stacking pallets, counting, wrapping, labeling. Instruct temporary employees on how to stack inventory on a pallet. Visually inspects (BOL) Bill of Lading and incoming parts and materials to ensure that the materials received are consistent with company requirements. Accurately transports received materials to their appropriate storage areas. Writes damage claim reports on incoming goods. Performs cycle counting daily for different managers in the plant. Maintains inventory and related warehouse information on the computer daily. Operates material handling equipment to move skids to and from work areas and organizes and arranges material entering and leaving production areas. Stores stock received in warehouse locations correspond to the warehouse computer. Maintains stock levels in designated areas per supervisor's instructions. Completes receiving, cycle counting, material handling related forms as required. Participates in the recount team during floor counts. Utilizes problem-solving methods to resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintains effective working relationships with other associates. Maintains positive attitude with delivery drivers. Performs duties in a safe manner, using all approved safety equipment as instructed. Maintains a neat and orderly work area. Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement.
