Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Packer 1 - 1st Shift to join our team. is $21.50 per hour. The core hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm. What you'll do: Warehouse Packers play a pivotal role in ensuring all orders are kitted and or packed with high accuracy to speed up the timeliness of our deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction with both products and packing. In this function you will: * Verify styles and quantities of materials picked. Visually inspect products, scanning and place in kitting or shipping carton. * Place packing material shipping carton to minimize potential of product damage during shipping. * Accurately place packing lists, content labels and kitting / shipping labels where appropriate. * Track and maintain inventory integrity at the workstation for all work orders and or deliveries in process. * Handle cranes and other lifting equipment, including control of lifting machinery buttons, levers, and pedals. * Ensure finished kits / packages are complete and meet quality standards and verify all paperwork necessary is packed with kit. * Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and good housekeeping. * Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary. * Ability to use computer keyboard with basic functionality and RF scanner required. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and continuously be able to lift. * Continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. * Capable of using manual equipment such as carts, hand truck or pallet jack. * Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain). * Other duties as assigned. STS Packaging, a Schwarz Partners, L.P. affiliate company is currently seeking a Finishing Packer in Mooresville, IN. The Finishing Packer reports to the Shift Supervisor. The Finishing packer is responsible for inspecting product for quality, ensuring product is properly glued, and packing finished product into cases. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION: Ensures materials are staged and ready to go to maintain uptime and quick loads of pallets. Safely supports forming and gluing operations. Monitor quality, remove loose scrap and sort if required by the operator. Accurately packs product into master cases and sends to taping and palletization. Ensures master cases are available and staged to support continuous run. Feeding requires lifting product, pre-breaking blanks and placing into feed hopper accurately and safely. Ability to see details at close range (such as color swirls molded in contamination). Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness (White or Natural). Ability to make precisely coordinated movement of both arms, hands, and fingers to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small objects (install ¾” vents and push in fittings in line - 12 covers per minute) Ability to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with your body, arms, and/or legs.
