Provides basic and general behavioral training and implements procedures and techniques that are used in the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals with developmental disability in a resident setting following established standards, policies and procedures and federal and state licensing regulations. The Medication Technician is responsible for the safe administration of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, and Health Services Director and in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures and practices of the property, and the requirements of the state.
