Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will assist providers while performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing and circulating within the lab. The Cath Lab Tech will be part of a team responsible for providing urgent and emergent care, specifically focusing on interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities
• Scrub and circulate for IR/Cath Lab and cardiology procedures.
• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Participate in weekly on-call coverage, every third week for STEMI and urgent procedures.
• Work within a three-member team, including at least one RN per shift.
• Adhere to medication administration protocols, as RN only.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT or RCIS.
• Experience in performing EKG lead placement preferred.

Education Requirements and Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Basic computer knowledge required.
6 Months of healthcare and/or direct patientcare experience is required.
Continued employment is dependent on successful completion of the Health Systems Management training program in its entirety.
The ability to work long hours is required. You could be on your feet for extended periods of time. Our day ends when patients' care is completed.
You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must pass the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) exam within 18 months following the first day of employment.
Must have or obtain Basic Life Support certification approved by the American Heart Association
Must be comfortable working around blood and needles, including cannulation, and obtaining labs.
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test.
