The PRN Pharmacy Technician performs an essential role in the preparation, compounding, dispensing, and distribution of sterile and nonsterile hazardous medications in the ambulatory oncology setting, including handling of hazardous waste, documentation, and inventory management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technician is responsible for ensuring safe preparation and dispensing of intravenous hazardous and non-hazardous medications. Technicians should play a role in embracing CSTDs for preparation of anticancer medications, including involvement in the evaluation process and familiarity with regulatory standards.
