Pharmacist Assignment Duration: 06 Months Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8.5-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch and 30 minutes of breaks. Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient-focused Community Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional care to patients. The Pharmacist will lead the daily activities of the pharmacy, supervise staff, and play a central role in advancing Hayat's commitment to accessible and community-based care. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal laws Accurately interpret and dispense prescriptions while verifying interactions, allergies, and dosage requirements Counsel patients on safe and effective medication use, duration of therapy, and potential side effects Collaborate with prescribers to clarify orders, recommend formulary alternatives, and support cost-effective care Supervise and mentor pharmacists, technicians, and student interns to promote professional growth and a positive work environment Maintain accurate prescription, inventory, and billing records in accordance with legal and company standards Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, verification, and removal of expired stock Administer vaccines and injectable medications as permitted by state licensure Support and uphold quality assurance, infection control, and safety procedures Participate in community engagement activities and contribute to patient education initiatives Foster strong communication with district and regional leaders to ensure operational alignment Uphold Hayat's standards for integrity, service excellence, and patient-centered care Qualifications Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited pharmacy program Active and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin Federal DEA registration and certification for vaccine administration Five or more years of pharmacy experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, formulary management, and dispensing procedures Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills Proven ability to manage staff and delegate responsibilities effectively Commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and ethical practice Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds Why Join Hayat Pharmacy Patient-first culture that values quality care over quotas Manageable workloads that allow for meaningful patient interaction Collaborative environment where your expertise and input are valued Competitive compensation and consistent scheduling Strong community presence and opportunity to make a direct impact on public health
