The Staff Retail Pharmacist work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Maintain a working knowledge of NC MedAssist formulary and eligibility requirements. Follow the chain of command when the pharmacy manager is not available. The Pharmacy Technician will be directly supervised by the Pharmacy Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be registered (in good standing), or willing to become registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy National technician certification (Cpht) preferred, but not required Must have at least 1 year of previous pharmacy experience Must have excellent verbal communication skills Must be fluent in both English and Spanish and be able to speak, read and write in both languages. Must be willing to participate as part of a team to establish relationships that foster optimal quality of patient care. COMPENSATION Compensation range is hourly and based on the candidates qualifications, experience and skills.
