Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. * Facilitates patients' ROM, strength, coordination, use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to patients' ADL performance under the supervision of the OT. * Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating and performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease. * Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients. * Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to provide patient and caregiver education. * Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payors, through education, coaching, and other assistance, as necessary. * Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency. * Participates in the Agency's QAPI program. * Meets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in the Agency sponsored in-service trainings. Qualifications Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapist assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy. * Active, state license as an occupational therapist assistant. * Current driver's license. * One year of experience as an occupational therapist assistant, preferred. * Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies. * Good interpersonal skills. * Proof of current CPR certification. * Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
