What we're looking for
We are looking for a dynamic Certified Occupational TherapistAssistant who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!
What you will do in this role
· Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
· Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
· Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
· Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
· Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Candidates must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
· Graduate of an accredited American Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree
· Current and valid state AOTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered
· Inpatient experience preferred
· BLS certification

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy servicesincluding treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, anddocumentation to students in the school setting.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice
+ Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required
+ One (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred
+ Pediatric experience preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
