Opportunity Summary:
Join our growing team! As a PhysicalTherapistAssistant (PTA) at Origami, you will assistPhysicalTherapists (PT) in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to our pediatric and adult clients. Essential Duties:
Document, and assist in the implementation of treatment plans for pediatric and adult clients under the direction of licensed PhysicalTherapists and as prescribed by referring physicians.
Educate staff, clients, and external stakeholders on prescribed home exercise programs and other physical therapy modalities as directed by supervising PhysicalTherapists.
Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines concerning program participants, both internally and when interacting with external individuals or agencies.
Proactively assist in task initiation and completion, employing appropriate problem-solving techniques to support effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
Document daily notes in a timely manner, ensuring comprehensive documentation for client records.
Maintain caseload levels within reasonable limits as directed by the Physical Therapy Supervisor, ensuring quality care delivery and client satisfaction.
As Needed:
Attend staff meetings, orientation, in-service trainings, clinical reviews, and care conferences.
Provide caseload coverage for PT services.

Participates in home evaluations. Must be able to travel within a 30-minute area of this facility using personal vehicle. Facility will reimburse all therapists for mileage related to home evaluations.
Make recommendations as to discharge planning in regards to projected setting and discharge date.
Develop functional maintenance programs and restorative aide training.
Participates in inservices, staff meetings, team meetings, continuing education courses, patient conferences, and other meetings as needed.
Maintains a clean and safe environment and demonstrates safe work-place practices.
Assist with departmental maintenance and supplies.

Duties:

Participating in team meetings and contributing to clinic goals
Requirements:
Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program
Physical Therapy Assistant license in MI
Salary:
$20-30/hr (depending on experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a homecare Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be working closely with patients each day to assist them as they exercise or practice daily tasks, motivate and encourage them, and correct their posture or form as needed. You will also be recording accurate patient records, setting up all needed equipment and tools for each patient, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate works well both independently and within a team, can maintain a positive attitude to encourage patients in recovery, and has existing knowledge of physical therapy guidelines and recommendations.
Responsibilities
Assist patients as they exercise or practice daily functional tasks by correcting form, motivating them, and ensuring their safety
