Location: Three Links Care Center
Position type: Full-time, benefited, .8 FTE
Hours/Schedule: This position will generally be scheduled for 32 hours per week, with a flexible Monday through Friday schedule.
Settings: This position will primarily be working in TCU, SNF/LTC and some Outpatient.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an AOTA accredited program and Professional Licensure in the state of hire or eligible for licensure in states that regulate the Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
Utilizes effective time management skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) REQUIREMENTS:
Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload. Conducts resident screens (without interpretation) as directed by the supervising therapist.
Participates in the clinical team process.
Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff. Participates in clinical program development.
Collects assessment data, as part of the evaluation process, as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Provides training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising therapist. Prepares treatment materials and assists with other clerical duties as directed.

PRN PhysicalTherapistAssistant (PTA)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the standards for rehabilitation services in accordance with the Company Mission and Goals
Be courteous to all patients and respectful of them, their environment and their culture
Provide quality therapy services at every patient contact, including treatment interventions, program implementation, discharge planning and related documentation and communication under the direction and supervision of the physicaltherapist
Prioritize and maintain a work schedule that is appropriate for the facility and in accordance with your employment
Assist Therapy management staff in maintaining a positive, productive, and beneficial working relationship with all Facility staff
Adhere to the policies and procedures necessary for day to day operations of the rehab department
Screen patients to determine the need for evaluation under the supervision of the PT
Treat patients to relieve pain and develop or restore function to achieve maximum performance under the supervision of a physicaltherapist
Monitor patient response to intervention, communicate any changes and follow through with all updates to the treatment modalities, goals, and frequency as needed under the direction and supervision of the physicaltherapist
Fulfills documentation requirements in a complete, appropriate and timely manner
Communicate and collaborate with other team members regarding the care of clients receiving therapy services
Assist with data collection on patients progress under the supervising PT
Plan for patient's discharge when maximum benefits have been met in coordination with the supervising PT supervising PT
Provide complete and correct billing summaries as required
Attend in-service education when provided to rehab staff
Maintain a neat and well-organized therapy department
Perform administrative duties to assist in the provision of therapy services
Identify all new rehab admissions and notify physicaltherapist when appropriate
Communicate upcoming patient discharges with Facility staff as required
Attend appropriate care plan meetings when requested
Provide in-service education to staff when requested
Supervise the physicaltherapistassistant student as appropriate
Provide other job-related tasks and duties as assigned
