Basic Requirement for a Physical Therapy Assistant:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes implementing physical therapy treatment plans, instructing on physical therapy programs, or providing physical therapy status reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
OR
Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Physical Therapy, Kinesiotherapy, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or Exercise Science. NOTE: You MUST submit a copy of your transcripts.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages. NOTE: You MUST submit a copy of your transcripts.

Job Summary: Responsible for implementing treatment programs established by the Occupational Therapist in accordance with all state and federal regulations. Collaborates with center staff to promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being for the patients.
Job Specific Duties
o Screens and makes recommendations based on observations of assigned patients as needed.
o Implements established occupational therapy treatment plans to meet each patient's needs.
o Collaborates and communicates effectively with other center team members to ensure optimal patient care and progress.
o Prioritizes responsibilities to ensure effective clinical operations.
o Demonstrates ability and willingness to attain productivity benchmark.
o Completes documentation and billing in a timely and accurate manner.
o Ensures MD orders are obtained according to company policy and procedures
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
Two-year college degree
Licensure: Occupational Therapy Assistants will hold licensure as outlined by the State Board of Occupational Therapy

Description:
We are seeking a skilled PhysicalTherapist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized patient care programs. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in a hospital, rehab, or outpatient setting. Responsibilities include performing assessments, designing treatment plans, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
The therapist may float to other units within scope. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required. Missed shifts must be made up. Onboarding and compliance take approximately 4-6 weeks. A voice screening and hiring manager interview are required.
