Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to move, locate/relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The job will include but not be limited to the following:
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck or other powered equipment
Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and loading functions as required
Maintain equipment by performing daily inspections and minor maintenance as needed
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
Return undelivered product to their proper inventory locations
Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations
Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
Efficiently move product from staging areas into storage locations
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, as well as perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by Warehouse Supervisor
Assist with physical inventory and cycle counting
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security is maintained
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
1-2 years of forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (Required)
Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide (Required)
Ability to operate industrial equipment, pallet jack, clamp truck, and cherry picker (Preferred)
Able to read and write legibly and take/follow directions
