Role Overview:
As a Lead Agriculture PlantOperator of our Night Shift, you'll work in all aspects of plant and warehouse operations including stocking and retrieving packages and bulk containers, driving a forklift, and general housekeeping. The role requires strong mechanical ability and aptitude.

* Move bulk fertilizer on trucks and railcars.
* Maintain facility cleanliness and upkeep.

Responsible for spotting railcars in a safe, accurate, efficient manner, following all rules governing railroad switching.
Inspect rail track and notify proper personnel of repair work to be performed
Unload LPG rail cars.
Locomotive Inspection, complete daily engine checklist and schedule diesel fuel for engine when required.
Movement and stopping of the locomotive through radio communications and hand signals

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THE TREATMENT PLANTOPERATOR I - WASTEWATER
Samples and monitors and performs testing required to maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and storm water and sludge management.
Performs all work in conformance to Occupational Safety and Health Act Regulations.
Collects wastewater plant samples and runs onsite lab testing per TCEQ regulations.
Walks the plant to collect data from hour meters, physically check pumps for proper operation, start centrifuge for sludge processing, and look/find issues and address them.
Performs maintenance on wastewater plant equipment and performs basin maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
Requires two years wastewater operation or closely related experience.
