Pre-/Post-Doctoral Fellowship, Institute of Clinical Bioethics Time Type: Full time and Qualifications: The clinical ethics pre-doctoral/post-doctoral fellowship provides an opportunity for a doctoral candidate or recent Ph.D. in bioethics to assist the director and assistant directors of the Institute of Clinical Bioethics (ICB) at St Joseph's University in the areas of education, consultation, teaching rounds, administration, and research within the university as well as the hospitals and nursing homes affiliated with the Institute. Research activities will include the growth of epitaxial thin films with atomic-scale structural and chemical precision; in-depth measurement of structural, dielectric, magnetic, and electromechanical properties; and exploration of low-frequency collective excitations using the laboratory's distinctive ultra-low-frequency Brillouin and Raman inelastic light-scattering platforms, which operate under combined electric- and magnetic-field bias and across a wide temperature range down to cryogenic conditions.
