Use the ECN (Engineering Change Notice) process to effectively and efficiently manage change aimed toward product improvement. Formulate product design specifications and update as required. Support assembly line by analyzing and solving problems or obstacles that occur during production. Help train production line and service departments for new builds and product improvements. Productively function in a fast-paced Engineering department that works intimately with manufacturing plant, sales personnel, and Service/Training team. Occasionally travel to assist with new applications, diagnostics, or trade shows. Assist with maintaining applications/equipment and how they integrate with evolving model year truck manufacturer changes. Other duties as assigned.     This person will join a team of four to provide additional support for regional projects. The team currently has four Regional Project Managers: one in the Northeast, one in the South, one in the Midwest, and one in the West. This role is intended to supplement their efforts. This role leads warehouse network optimization projects focused on consolidations, density modeling, and storage strategies. It involves analyzing racking configurations, inventory placement, and designing layouts to improve space efficiency, safety, and operational performance Key Responsibilities: • Lead warehouse layout and storage optimization projects, including consolidations, new building stand-ups, and reconfigurations. • Conduct volumetric and density modeling to maximize storage and throughput efficiency. • Assess existing facilities and recommend remediation or redesign strategies. • Develop and present data-driven recommendations through analytics, modeling, and reporting. • Manage projects end-to-end, coordinating across cross-functional stakeholders. • Act as SME on racking systems and warehouse storage methodologies. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse design, layout optimization, or fulfillment operations. • Strong background in analytics, volumetric modeling, and space utilization strategies. • Hands-on experience with racking and material handling equipment design. • Proven ability to plan, draft, and implement multiple building utilization strategies. • AutoCAD experience a must - can be intermediate • Ability to travel up to 50%
