Accelsius is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to help create leading-edge cooling solutions for the computer industry. This role will include the design and creation of cooling system assemblies, focusing on evaporator plates used in 2-phase cooling applications.
This position will report directly to the VP of Engineering and the right candidate will enjoy the freedom to design/develop novel products, with the ability to greatly influence the overall company roadmap.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop cold plates and other assemblies for 2-phase cooling solutions
Perform FEA on assemblies to confirm performance and suitability for enterprise data center applications
Assist in validating thermal and mechanical performance, and directing testing and test requirements as needed
Work with other engineers to ensure compatibility with designed assemblies in the greater cooling system, including generating specifications and assisting in design reviews
Create drawings required for manufacturing and other documentation (user guides, service manuals)
Qualifications for this role include:
B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering
5 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility
Sheet metal and chassis experience preferred
Thermal engineering experience preferred, with experience in 2-phase cooling technologies
Strong mechanical design and integration skills using modern 3D modeling tools
Strong FEA capability
Ability to lead mechanical developments from concept to release
Experience using SolidWorks
Preferred experience with cold-plate design for modern processors/GPUs or other similar power electronics

* Design cable plant solutions to ensure efficient and effective network connectivity.
* Inspect installation quality to ensure all systems meet industry standards and requirements.
* Document infrastructure to maintain accurate records of installations and updates.
* Test connectivity to verify the proper functionality of the network systems.
* Maintain existing systems, ensuring continued performance and reliability.
* Support migrations by ensuring smooth transitions and minimal service interruptions.
* Create materials lists to ensure the proper resources are available for installations and upgrades.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in relevant field
* Strong understanding of ISP/OSP fundamentals
* Proficiency in cable testing and troubleshooting
* Expertise in fiber splicing techniques
* Experience with infrastructure design and implementation
* Skilled in technical documentation and reporting
* Must have an active Secret clearance
CERTIFICATIONS
* BICSI Technician or equivalent

* Experience with DoD infrastructure systems
