Tutors will be provided with an Instructor Guide (with answers) and students will receive the Student Guide. Tutoring sessions will focus on the most-needed modules within the exam prep materials. In addition, there is also an online learning platform that instructors/students will have access to. Within this platform, you will be able to assign additional practice problems to students and monitor their performance. As an ACT/SAT Prep Tutor, you are expected to:
Have excellent familiarity with the ACT and/or SAT exam
Be able to prepare students for the exam both academically, as well as coaching them on the best test-taking skills, pacing, test anxiety, etc.
Be able to provide in-person test prep tutoring, as well as assign practice problems and monitor their performance on those problems outside of the tutoring session
Be able to effectively plan out your schedule for test prep and what you aim to accomplish with the student each session so that they have covered all of the material by the date of their exam
Be able to write a thorough report after each session detailing what was covered, how well the student did, and what you intend to keep practicing with the student in subsequent sessions
