We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal or Senior Principal Manufacturing Engineer based out of Waynesboro, Virginia.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of advanced industrial automation systems, Factory Test equipment systems, and other manufacturing equipment at our Central Virginia manufacturing facilities.
What You'll Get to Do:
As a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer you will troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance tasks while developing process improvements and engaging digital tools to streamline operations and manufacturing sequences. You will collaborate with peers, assemblers, and technicians to ensure equipment readiness and availability. Knowledge of equipment functionality and capability are paramount as you support metric driven decisions on maintenance, throughput, and capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Develop and implement shop floor digital solutions for PM and Operations.
Collaborate with OEM's when troubleshooting and developing failure mode corrective actions.
Develop digital work instructions for manufacturing and maintenance tasks.
Specify, identify, and procure new manufacturing equipment for production readiness and prepare equipment for production with a focus on the machine integration and data collection.

Basic Qualifications for the Principal Manufacturing Engineer:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production and/or equipment maintenance. Or a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production and/or equipment maintenance. Candidates with an Associate's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production and/or equipment maintenance will also be considered.

Position Overview:
As our Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for interfacing with suppliers, developing procurement strategies, and ensuring the quality and compliance of subcontracted parts and assemblies.

Your Day to Day as a Procurement Engineer:
* Prepare and execute Commercial Grade Dedication Plans.

* Lead internal technical teams when preparing and evaluating work completed by the suppliers.
* Verify that supplier fabrication processes, procedures, and delivered components meet ordering requirements.
* Review and disposition supplier-generated procedures and certifications.
* Participate in supplier audits, surveillance, and observe operations at suppliers.
* Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality and other Engineering Disciplines to develop and qualify new suppliers.
* Evaluate and contribute to disposition of discrepant material. Review certifications and perform technical releases on acceptable material.
* Assist in the development of cost estimates in support of proposals.
Required Qualifications:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or Physics is required.
* A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience is required.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $134,000.00
The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000.00 and $134,000.00 per year. Job Description
The Process Engineer is responsible for understanding the processes and technical activities in a continuously running production environment to implement, improve, and assist in troubleshooting equipment and processes in a plant or multiple plants. This position supports engineering and plant efforts in driving process improvements, implementing mistake proofing, standardization, sharing lessons learned, and assisting in the implementation of custom designed machines and processes.
Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer requires understanding PLC ladder logic (majority Allen-Bradley based), digital and analog inputs and outputs, machine based ethernet communication, integrating disparate equipment, and understanding the bigger picture of how components communicate with each other.
They will help to design, optimize and maintain systems and equipment along with transforming raw materials into finished product.
May be called upon to help Maintenance troubleshoot drives, PLCs, cards, and ethernet signals.
Must be comfortable making decisions for how machinery must be specified.
Collaborate with other engineers to drive to an efficient and effective processing environment through implementation, improvement, and developing new processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related engineering or related discipline preferred.
Project Management, process technology/engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
5+ years' experience in engineering discipline in manufacturing settings with a solid, demonstrated record of achievement.
Relevant plant operations or technical experience will also be considered.
Experience in plastics manufacturing preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects, managing time and prioritizing work accordingly.
Proficiency with personal computers, including Microsoft Suite.
Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming including AB RSLogixs and Wonderware software preferred.
