What You Will Do

The Role:
The Project Engineer will be based on the construction project site, and may even travel to sites across the country. Product engineer job in Chattanooga, TN
Job Description
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Junior Geotechnical Staff Engineer position in our Chattanooga, TN office.
Perform geotechnical field investigations. This may include boring layouts, drilling inspections, and running geophysical surveys.
Coordinate and assist with managing the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms.
Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples.
Perform geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase, as needed.
Assist in preparing geotechnical engineering reports.
Participate in meetings with design team, stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements
B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field.
0 to 2 years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field.
EIT license is a plus.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Driver's License Required
Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
This position occasionally requires carrying 50-70 pounds.
Salary Range: $20 - $28 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
