SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the successful operation of the Logistics Warehouse. The Logistics Processing Operator performs duties which include, but are not limited to, clothing processing, merchandise processing, cleaning and organizing, and other responsibilities as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clothing Processing: Able to sort clothes into good and salvaged piles. Capable of tagging clothes with the appropriate size and hang clothes on racks for immediate transport to all Hope Chest Thrift Stores as requested.
Merchandise Processing: Process donated merchandise into different categories, such as housewares, linens, toys, books, etc., to a required quality standard while culling out the unsellable products and maintaining predetermined production targets.

Position Summary: The
Production Technician
will be involved in all activities related to a goal-directed Shift Team, to achieve CSC goals and highest standards of Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, Cost and Production during his/her shift, with a particular responsibility for general team support. Entry-level Team Support Technicians are expected to train through the operations skills, over the course of five-to-seven years, to attain highly skilled operations technician “Tech A” status, responsible for running highly technical processes and equipment.
This role will primarily support second shift operations, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Duties & Responsibilities: Systems include high speed corrugating machines, robotic assembly devices, conveyors, batch mixers, electrical distribution systems, and building automation systems.
Follow all PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety procedures associated with the production center
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in work area
Achieve conformance to production goals, product quality and cost
Ability to exercise common courtesy and common sense at all times to build shift and CSC team relationships through mutual respect, conflict resolution, mutual assistance and encouragement
Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement with respect to Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, Cost Production, and Team
Troubleshoot problems throughout production run minimizing safety hazards, loss of quality, production, and downtime
Effectively communicate with plant operations and facility management
Strong desire to learn and share manufacturing processes with the team

Arxada is looking for a Production Tech in MODESTO, CA . Production Tech is responsible for setting up production equipment to manufacture,
process, and assemble various products. Production Tech II uses Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to produce products and monitors output for quality and conformance to required metrics. They prepare and maintain required records of production activities and report any inconsistencies or equipment issues as well as following all established guidelines for safe material handling and protective gear.The pay range for this role is $19-$22 per hour with full Arxada benefits.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepare and complete orders for container labeling, bulk product, or customer
labeling according to schedule (load tanks, pack, fill, and label).
Understands all required SOPs for Production Tech II.
Maintains up to date training on OSHA procedures, food defense, Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
(HACCP).
Responsible for completing/verifying pre-operational checklists. Completes daily,
weekly, and monthly inspections for Food Safety and Quality program as
required.
Monitors performance standards and goals to ensure compliance.
Supports Safe Quality Food (SQF), Quality Assurance (QA), GMPs, and all other
safety policies and procedures.
Responsible for properly handling hazardous chemicals and understanding the
proper procedure if spill occurs.
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Housekeeping at a high level
within the department through involvement of all team members.
Report daily to the Production Supervisor, in a consistent format, on the
activities/duties.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensures that tools/equipment used are
cleaned/sanitized, returned to the proper storage location, and are ready for re-use.
Perform other duties as assigned
Complete all required training and certifications including but not limited to:
o HazWoper Training Certificate (Helena Plant Required).
o 49 CFR 172.704 Subpart H Training Certificate Required
o Forklift Training / License
Qualifications & Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Must be able to complete simple math, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
