Position Overview:
The Machine Operator starts and ends production activities at our coil coating factory in Toledo, Ohio. The position will interact closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process from the raw material to the finished product. This is a hands-on position that will be required to cover a variety of duties and responsibilities in this continuous operation.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to manufacturing floor supervision and management, the Machine Operator responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Operate payoff and rewind end of coil coating line
Visually inspect coils to make sure there are no defects in the paint or metal (trash in paint, dents, scratches, etc.)
Cut samples of coated coil for QC lab inspection
Keep work area clean
Participate in safety and other training programs as required
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Operate Forklift, if applicable

Job Summary

**Overview**

The Operator is responsible for operating a given number of plastic blow molding machines (including in-line equipment), and makes necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner. The primary duties of an Operator include:
+ Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.

+ Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards.

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking 2nd/3rd shift ProductionOperators to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.
Currently hiring for second/third shift positions. Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights - including weekends. Starting Pay Rate $24.53/hr., additional shift premium, weekly pay
Responsibilities & Duties
Must learn the safe and proper operation of the packaging filling equipment.
Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
Maintain downtime records during line operation.
Responsible for conducting and documenting quality checks.
Responsible for clean-up of the equipment.
Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Shift Leader, or Line Technician.
Perform sanitation duties for production equipment as needed and period sanitation work as assigned.
Proper handling and usage of chemicals.
Must handle Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
Support Plant Quality Systems.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Shift Leader.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends and holidays
Prior manufacturing experience is required

Performs required quality testing on products produced.

Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
Position will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Minimum 2 years experience in machine operating.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.

Production Line Technician - 1st Shift
A & M Cheese is a processor and distributor of fine cheeses in the US, and is currently looking for you to fill the role of Production Line Technician at our Toledo, OH, location and become part of our 1st shift team.
The Production Line Technician will be responsible for opening cheese cases and palletizing, and performing associated line tasks.
Essential Duties:
Assists in setting up equipment and preparing the area for operation.
Opens cases and totes of cheese.
Cuts and removes wrap from the cheese.
Moves cases of product and raw material to and from the Production area using a hand jack or pallet truck.
Cuts cheese into pieces with a hand knife and/or wire cutters.
Performs quality inspections of finished product.
Boxes finished product.
Bag, weigh jars or tubs, and label product.
Stack cases on pallets and stretch wrap pallet loads by hand or with a stretch wrap machine.
Bale corrugated cardboard with a baler.
Remove debris from the Production area.
Hold product and material losses to a minimum.
Meets all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Operates industrial trucks in a safe and correct manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to read and communicate with others in English.
