Primary Responsibilities
Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:
Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs.
Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
Aid junior operators in their assigned responsibilities.
Repair and clean the equipment when needed.
Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Qualifications

This position works under minimal supervision and is responsible for operating one or more of the Injection Molding Production Lines as assigned that shift.
Duties and Responsibilities (essential duties are

)
1. Production line operation
a. Pulls work orders at the beginning of the shift and throughout the shift as needed.
b. Verifies work order labels and data, ensuring accuracy prior to starting production.
c. Inspects product type, label, color, and molding uniformity.
d. Loads appropriate label file.
e. Runs production equipment at standard rates set by Company.
f. Begins production run, per work order.
g. Comfortable using a weight scale for accuracy.
h. Prints and labels boxes.
i. Pulls flattened case boxes and assembles enough of them for that shift.
j. Prints and labels cases.
k. Performs final assembly and/or packaging of molded parts
l. Records production run data on work order and in ERP System (EPICOR)
m. Stops machine at the end of the run.
n. Cleans and maintains production machines and work areas.
2. Performs basic troubleshooting on machine, resolving basic problems as trained.
3. Escalates machine problems to the Maintenance Team and or Lead as required.
4. Performs in a manner consistent with company Core Values and Purpose.
5. Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually.
6. Clocks in and out for work and lunch with no more than 1 error per month.

12. Position spends approximately 5% of time sitting at a workstation and 95% standing or walking.
