Intern, Commercial Development The Commercial Development Intern will drive forward the Natrium commercial strategy. This unique role at the center of the nuclear industry leader will strategize and build a business plan for an emerging business line. This will include a market map across the nuclear, renewable, and fossil industries to effectively communicate how to position TerraPower and its unique advantages within the power industry. The Intern will work cross-functionally with engineering and business teams to build a detailed financial projection from the ground up in support of the business case. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in designing and optimizing Flink + Paimon architectures for unified batch/stream processing. * Familiarity with feature storage and training data pipelines, and their integration with PyTorch, especially for large-scale model training. * Knowledge of columnar file formats (Parquet, ORC, Lance) and how they are used in feature engineering or ML data loading. * Proficiency in Java/Scala/C++, and strong debugging/performance tuning ability. * Previous experience in Lakehouse metadata management, compaction scheduling, or data versioning is a plus. * Solid understanding of Apache Flink internals, with hands-on experience in state management, connectors, or UDFs. We're a small, fast-moving team based in Seattle, and we're looking for a sharp, curious Software Engineering Intern to help us validate and improve the workflows built by our AI systems. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, AI, and real-world software tooling-helping us scale from semi-automated processes to truly intelligent automation. What You'll Do Contribute to the development and refinement of our AI-driven automation engine by improving how workflows are interpreted, validated, and executed. Write and debug Python and/or Go code to enhance core backend systems that interact with large language models and automation agents.
