This direct-hire role focuses on developing and maintaining simulation models that power the control room simulator-a critical tool for plant operations and operator training.

Key Requirement - GSE Simulation Software
To be considered, candidates must have direct experience with GSE Simulation Software, such as SimExec, JTopmeret, or JElectric.
This experience is required and essential to success in the role.
What You'll Do
Develop and update plant simulation models using GSE Simulation Software tools.
Accurately reflect engineering documentation into simulator models.
Support the development, testing, and operation of the control room simulator.
Identify and troubleshoot defects, ensuring simulator performance and reliability.
Collaborate with nuclear operators and engineers to improve model fidelity.
Perform limited hardware setup and maintenance (computers, monitors, cables).
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of simulation or modeling development experience.
Required: Proficiency in GSE Simulation Software (SimExec, JTopmeret, or JElectric).
Strong programming skills in Fortran, C++, and/or Python.
Experience with configuration tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
Familiarity with thermal-hydraulic and neutronic analysis codes (RELAP5, TRACE, Simulate3, MCNP) preferred.
Understanding of P&IDs and thermal-hydraulic principles is a plus.
Must be eligible under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.

**The Job You Will Perform:**
+ Responsible for engineering and managing the installation of equipment within corrugated manufacturing facilities.
+ Directly responsible to assure all capital and repair projects assigned are installed as per the project scope, schedule, cost estimate and budget, and with minimum plant production interference.
+ Reports to the Project Engineer Lead in PSNA Engineering. The PL of this role may vary (PL 14, 15 or 16) according to candidate skill set and experience.
+ Lead the project management of multiple, concurrent projects involving installation of corrugated manufacturing equipment and/or plant infrastructure improvements.

**The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:**
+ BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related business discipline.
+ 5+ years corrugated box industry experience including a detailed understanding of corrugated equipment, the corrugating process and applicable OSHA health & safety policies/laws.
+ Requires understanding of engineering process and the mechanical, electrical, and scheduling/organizational requirements for corrugated equipment installations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
+ Proficiency with AutoCAD software to create, view and modify drawings for comparative evaluation and final project construction/installation; utilize AutoCAD software to create and modify plant layouts, equipment layouts & foundation drawings for contractor bid packages.
+ Advanced project management skills with experience managing multiple, current, major and minor engineering projects.

What Youll Do
As a Project Engineer, youll be a key player in delivering high-impact projects that shape communities. Youll work closely with your Project Manager (your coach and mentor), Superintendents, and our in-house design team to ensure every detail aligns with the big picture.
Youll:
Support all phases of project deliveryfrom early design collaboration through final closeout
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with architects, engineers, and construction managers in a fully integrated team
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to align design intent with real-world execution
Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and contracts across both design and build phases
Track budgets, change orders, and commitmentskeeping a finger on the financial pulse of the project
Assist with estimating, bidding, and scope development during preconstruction
Help maintain and adjust project schedules, identifying critical path items from design through construction
Support field teams with procurement and logistics to keep projects on track
Leverage cutting-edge tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Co-Pilot
