Perform other duties as assigned. About You To fill the role, we're looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights should include: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. A post-graduate degree would be an asset. Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Category Waste Management Type Full-Time As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc (CEC), in our Sacramento office, you'll work on civil and environmental engineering projects primarily associated with solid waste facilities. These projects will involve completing engineering tasks such as airspace, excavation, and fill volume calculations, preparation, review and compilation of technical reports, stormwater management system design, landfill grading, leachate and landfill gas collection system design. In addition, you may work on compost facility and transfer station, permitting, design and construction.
