Position Overview
We are seeking a Spacecraft Mechanical Design DMU & Mass Properties Engineer to support satellite mechanical/structural and payload development across both non-recurring engineering (NRE) and recurring programs. This role involves systems engineering, mechanical design, CAD assembly development, mass properties tracking, interface definition, analysis support, assembly support, and testing support. The ideal candidate is innovative, collaborative, and capable of leading small teams while working independently.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage full spacecraft CAD assemblies, including skeleton models, subsystem interfaces, and flight hardware.
Develop and maintain mass properties databases for all satellite and launch configurations.
Implement CAD-based controls to validate mass properties tracking.
Develop and maintain interface control drawings (ICDs), detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Material (BOM).
Perform mechanical/structural subsystem and payload trade studies to optimize system architecture for performance, mass, cost, and manufacturability.

As a Project Engineer, you'll be the operational hub for complex mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing) projects-partnering with Project Managers and field teams to keep scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety on track. You'll touch everything from documentation and scheduling to BIM/CADD coordination, vendor management, and client communication.
**What You'll Do**
+ **Project controls & docs:** Own RFIs, submittals, change orders (COR/CO), meeting minutes, and logs.
+ **Scheduling:** Update master schedules (labor, equipment, fabrication, rentals); flag risks and pull-forward options.
+ **Cost management:** Support job cost control, vendor pricing, POs, and progress billings.
+ **Field coordination:** Assist QA/QC, pre-task/hazard analyses, site walks, and toolbox talks; drive punchlist closure.
+ **BIM/CADD:** Coordinate model updates and field integration with VDC/CADD partners.
+ **Procurement:** Source materials, track deliveries, resolve shortages; maintain vendor relationships.
+ **Client/GC/Subs:** Prep for and participate in project meetings; support subcontractor selection and oversight.
+ **Closeout:** Assemble O&M manuals, as-builts, and final turnover documents.
**What You'll Bring**
+ **Background:** Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering degree and 3-5 years in commercial construction or 10+ years relevant mechanical construction experience in lieu of degree.
+ **Industry exposure:** HVAC/Plumbing mechanical contractor experience on mid-to-large commercial projects (preferred).

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in aerospace composite fabrication. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Toray prepreg materials, CNC routing, bonding preparation, autoclave operations, composite curing, and has supported new facility startups as well as capital equipment specification and sourcing. This role will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and scaling advanced composite manufacturing processes for aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for CFRP components using Toray prepreg systems.
Lead or support new facility startups, including layout planning, utilities coordination, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
Specify, source, validate, and maintain capital equipment such as autoclaves, CNC routers, ovens, and bonding tools.
Program and operate CNC routers for precision trimming and drilling of composite structures.
Oversee bonding preparation processes, including surface treatment, adhesive application, and cure cycle optimization.
Manage autoclave operations, including recipe development, cycle optimization, and maintenance coordination.
Apply expertise in composite curing processes-thermal profiles, pressure cycles, and material-specific requirements-to ensure optimal part quality and structural integrity.
Create and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, and tooling specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with aerospace standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield, reduce scrap, and enhance overall process efficiency.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of aerospace composite manufacturing experience, specifically with CFRP.
Demonstrated expertise with Toray prepreg materials including handling, layup, and curing.
Proficiency in CNC routing, fixture design, and CAM programming for composite materials.

The Satellite Integration Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and supporting integration and assembly processes for satellite subsystems and full spacecraft. This role focuses on designing efficient workflows, ensuring adherence to aerospace standards, improving production quality, and driving process optimization to meet mission requirements. The engineer will collaborate closely with design engineers, technicians, quality teams, and program management to ensure seamless integration, assembly, and testing of spacecraft.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
