The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will work with internal stakeholders and outside contractors to execute projects to support manufacturing scale up. Key Responsibilities: Provide engineering support for second shift process quality and equipment troubleshooting of seamless tube manufacturing and processing equipment. Lead teams to resolve daily production issues Apply engineering design and analysis for manufacturing process equipment and the ability to produce and understand mechanical drawings Evaluate equipment and systems needed to accomplish our plant production goals. Develop new and improve legacy processes. Monitor existing processes and implement improvements to reduce cost of poor quality and production costs. Suggest sources of manufacture for new process or equipment components. Apply methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, and statistical process control to support continuous improvement projects. Develop and deliver presentations to communicate statuses, problem resolutions, and recommendations. Analyze and recommend use of technological innovations in machinery and manufacturing techniques to solve complex manufacturing problems. Assists with operational or methods analyses related to labor standards for use in conducting manufacturing operations. Assist in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements. May interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new or existing products and conduct reviews of engineering drawings prior to release. What You Bring: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering 3 years experience GD&T Ability to create models and drawings, present design reviews, and perform trade studies and design reviews. Capable of coordinating multiple project responsibilities. Must be a team player and have knowledge of MS Office Suite. Ability to perform analysis and studies with strong attention to details in a fast-paced environment. Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
