About the role The Principal Facilities Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support to operating the Assai Renewal Natural Gas (RNG) plant located in Throop, PA. A key asset for Archaea Energy, this facility converts landfill gas, collected at the landfill, into pipeline quality natural gas (High Btu or Renewable Natural Gas). The facility processes the landfill gas by removing the majority of the non-methane components including CO2, Nitrogen, water, sulfur and volatile and non-volatile organic compounds to attain pipeline quality gas. This role will work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel at the plant in support of achieving plant runtime and production KPI's. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering management (Civil, Electrical, Structural, Mechanical), architecture, construction management, or similar field, or equivalent experience. * Industrial and defense construction experience preferred. * A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Design Project Engineer in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required. * Facility construction experience is preferred. * Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) trades is required. * Construction management is a strong preference. * Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms (MS Office skills essential). This position will be responsible for management of small to large-scale projects, and multi-project initiatives utilizing industry best practices and health care systems engineering principles. Works collaboratively with project stakeholders, functional managers and leadership in the clinical, educational and financial domains to develop project goals and objectives, sets project timelines, controls and scope and track outcomes. Organizes, manages, and directs project team tasks to assure proper application of project management standards, best practices, tools, and methodologies in project work. Establishes and executes a communication plan meeting the needs of each project, including status meetings, status reports, change management, resource needs and issue escalation. Creates agendas, ensures the capture of minutes, and conducts meetings in an effective and efficient manner. Collects status information regularly from the project teams and maintains visibility to overall project status for stakeholders and leadership. Clearly, succinctly and persuasively communicates strategies, specific solutions and analyses in a way that is appropriately targeted to audience. Promotes internal spread of information, knowledge and best practices. Establishes and manages relationships to achieve targeted outcomes by engaging staff and leadership. Psychology or Information Systems required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum two-year related healthcare experience required. Requires qualification in project management or equivalent knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management. Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
