and -operated adult correctional facilities, you'll lead a team of dedicated psychiatrists providing comprehensive mental health care to a diverse and clinically complex patient population.
Requirements
A current California Medical License, certification to practice psychiatry
Minimum two years of experience practicing psychiatry in a psychiatric inpatient or outpatient setting or a correctional facility
The ability to prepare and supervise the preparation of comprehensive medical reports, case histories, and hospital records; and the capacity to coordinate, supervise, guide, and evaluate the work of professional employees.
Restructured Recruitment and Retention Bonuses
Recruitment and Retention Bonus for clinicians newly hired with the State of CA and providing onsite, in-person care has been restructured to provide a 1% bonus for the first 7 years, increasing by 1% year over year, maxing out at a 7% bonus by year 7.

Assist with the Full Time/ Part Time didactic faculty and Track Coordinators in the clinical education process for Saint Joseph's University's NursePractitioner students. The faculty/ student ratio is 6 to 1. Your responsibilities for each semester are as follows:
On-Campus Intensive (if applicable):
Assist with the On-Campus Intensive (OCI) requirements associated with the clinical courses.
The number of hours you will participate in vary by track, but on average will be 8-16 hours per semester.
Participate in selected didactic material, with Course Faculty/Track Coordinator, that might be taught during the On-Campus Intensive.
Provide one-on-one feedback and complete evaluations, of student simulations, in the Typhon tracking system.
Please discuss specific dates and times of each track's OCI with the respective Track Coordinator.
Communication:
Initiate communication with your clinical students one to two weeks prior to the start of the clinical semester.
Initiate contact with each preceptor and be certain they have your up-to-date contact information.
Contact each preceptor every two to three weeks during the semester with more frequent contact if a student is experiencing challenges in meeting clinical expectations.
In person site visit to be completed between weeks three to five.
Follow-up, in person and/or virtual, site visit may be required for students who are not meeting clinical expectations.
Communicate with Course Faculty/ Track Coordinator bi-weekly (or immediately if student concerns and/or questions arise).
Respond to all student, preceptor, faculty and administration emails within 48 hours during regular business hours.
Assignments:
Grade clinical assignments within 1 week of submission.
Example assignments include:
Review weekly documentation/ encounter and procedures submitted to Blackboard. Discuss areas of concern, give constructive feedback, all on a continual basis. Document any concerns in the Typhon tracking system and discuss accordingly with Course Faculty/Track Coordinator.
Return graded assignments in a timely manner to allow students time to benefit from your feedback before the next weeks submission.
Weekly assignments are graded.
Responsible for monitoring clinical hours in the tracking system and ensuring that hours are entered and verified by preceptors at least bi-weekly.

Complete comprehensive, accurate and thorough review of the assigned member population, including timely completion and submission of all required encounter documentation (paper or electronic);
Ensure that all pertinent and active medical conditions are documented in the medical record in a manner compliant with CMS/DHHS, Inovalon policy, and client requirements;
Support the physician/patient relationship and ensure timely and adequate communication, documentation of assessment findings, recommendations, need for additional services, emergency services required if necessary and need for follow up and timelines for follow up to primary care provider (PCP) and health plan as required;
Make general recommendations to members intended to improve members' knowledge of their chronic condition(s), such as information concerning recommended testing;
Address and close identified gaps in care (disease-specific or preventive);
Recognize emergent or urgent situations requiring escalation and take appropriate action as specified in Inovalon policies, and as determined by reasonable professional judgment and ethical professional practice standards; and
Perform, document and communicate results of Point of Care (POC) Testing.
Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;
Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function;

Qualifications
Active un-encumbered license to practice nursing;
NursePractitioner Certification from either the ANCC or AANP; in Family, Adult, Gerontology or Emergency Medicine.
Board Certified through the AANP or ANCC

Your Opportunity! We're looking for a Care Coordinator (RPN) to act as a Supervisor providing the highest standard of care services at Seasons. This role will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, their families' and other staff members while mentoring and providing direction and education to our Resident Guest Attendants for care and other team members'.
What You Will Do:
* Effectively utilizing the nursing process to provide high quality nursing care to residents
* Supervisory duties including ensuring excellent care services to Seasons' residents and providing mentoring/education/guidance to care team on an ongoing basis
* Assessments of residents moving into Seasons community and following up with residents throughout the transition to community (6 month re-assessments of residents per RHRA regulations, as health care changes)
* Establish priorities based on individual resident needs
* Providing person centered service plans
* Ensuring compliance with Resident Assessments/Service Plans (PCC) while following community specific policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations
* Risk management by adhering to thorough monthly care related audits
* Medication administration (PCC knowledge an asset)

Qualifications or Skills Required:
* Current Registered Practical Nurse License and is in good standing with the CNO
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations
* Experience working with seniors in a retirement or long-term care facility environment is considered an asset
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills in relation to both residents and care staff
* Point-Click-Care (PCC) knowledge is considered an asset
