Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced neonatal care and attend to patients in our Level-III NICU, which features a 70-bed, highly equipped unit. Support high-risk deliveries and provide coverage for a Level-I low-risk delivery unit at Cape Coral Hospital, including well-baby care and backup support from home. Participate in 24-hour in-house call coverage, with 12-hour shifts, and contribute to 24-hour coverage based on experience. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Engage in developmentally sensitive and family-centered care practices, fostering a supportive environment for families and staff. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical research opportunities, if desired. Provide education and mentorship to multidisciplinary team members and new staff. Qualifications: Current Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NO exceptions; FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted). Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; recent graduates are not eligible. Valid Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure. Ability to work full-time, with residency within the immediate local area (relocation may be required). Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates.
