Responsibilities include providing quality care to pediatric medical and surgical patients from birth to young adulthood. Our service is the primary inpatient pediatric teaching rotation for the UCI-CHOC residency program comprised of 83 pediatric residents, UCI Family Practice and the Kaiser Orange County family practice residencies. We are also a primary teaching location for the University of California, Irvine and Dartmouth Medical schools. We are a constantly growing program within a large, well established group of 40 Hospitalists covering 3 locations. Opportunities in quality improvement, community outreach, resident education and administrative activities are available and encouraged.
