Our Cardiovascular Hospitalists include an independent hospitalist team that works primarily out of the Acute Cardiovascular unit at Intermountain Medical Center. This collaborative group of Internal Medicine trained/certified Hospitalists admits patients coming in with a presumed primary cardiac condition and provides comprehensive consultative service within the CV unit. There are dedicated CV Intensivists in the building, so there is no ICU care provided by the CV Hospitalist team. They manage most heart failure, acute MI, myopericarditis, primary and secondary arrhythmias admitted.
