BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Degree: physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering that included 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by course work in mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics.

Qualifications

The hourly rate for this position is

What You Will Do:
Conduct chemical analysis on powder and solid materials to ensure material meets customer requirements.
Prepare samples and perform analysis on a wide variety of materials where methods and techniques have been established
Perform instrument set up and calibration
Organize, report and maintain records of analysis
Enter test results into various databases
Perform continuous improvement initiatives
Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
Demonstrates ability to escalate questions/concerns for issues that are not routine or clearly defined
Demonstrated ability to execute to work instructions on completion of routine tasks
The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 2:00pm - 12:00am (7th shift).

High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
