The role will include both local and national travel to conduct Doping Control assignments. The Aircraft QC Inspector (CH-47 Technical Inspector) Inspects the repair and modification of aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty. * Inspects removal and installation aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. * Performs scheduled and special inspections. * Inspects and performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. * Inspects forms and records related to aircraft maintenance. * Inspects defective parts of the aircraft. * Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections, including repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, structural components and engines. * Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions. * Participates in maintenance test-flights and operation checks as required. * Ensures compliance with aircraft configuration control, oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration. * Performs additional duties, including maintenance duties, as requested. * Adheres to company policies and safety programs (Safety-first mentality). Minimum Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent is required. * U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired; certification of education level is required. * Valid up-to-date A&P license with IA (preferred) * Shall have five years' aviation maintenance experience, five years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS). All Mechanic experience must be within the six most recent years. * Shall have five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience. Shall have at least one year's experience inspecting MDS aircraft assigned. All Inspector experience must be within the ten most recent years. Back shop TI shall have at least one year's experience on components being inspected. * Must have satisfactorily completed the 15-series career management field Advanced Leadership Course (formerly BNCOC), AMOC, or possess a Federal aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) (preferred). * Valid Driver's License. * Must provide own tools/toolbox. Knowledge & Skills * Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems on the assigned MDS. * Advanced knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, hydraulic press machine, and those listed in the assigned MDS Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC). * Advanced knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems. * Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects * Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical-type maintenance to be performed by aircraft mechanics. * The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. * Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are required. * Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. The Lab Analyst role reports to the Plant Chemist/Lab Leader as part of the site quality assurance laboratory. The Lab Analyst is responsible for using analytical methods to provide prompt and accurate testing of industrial chemicals for conformance to quality specifications, for operational process control, to fulfill special customer requirements, or in support of troubleshooting or improvement projects. Perform in-process and final inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies. This typically includes various mechanical assemblies, piping, brackets and wiring, lighting, boxes, etc. What you will be responsible for: * Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements. * Must be able to effectively use, read and interpret a tape measure. * Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance. * Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected, whether accepted or rejected. * The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures. * Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications. * Must have weld inspection experience.
