Responsible for ensuring the units standard of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. Prepare unit for delivery to customer. Record data from test procedures and inspections Support Quality Control manager on data and documentation of defects to resolve solution of deficiency. Able to troubleshoot and repair warranty issues pertaining to the unit. Complies with company's safety, quality procedures and policies. Required Skills and Qualifications Shop Mechanic Experience Knowledge of tools: hand tools and gauges Computer skills Knowledge of some hydraulics and electrical wiring Attention to detail. Communication skills- verbal and written. Ability to read and follow customer specifications on finished units. Knowledge of weights and measurements High School Diploma or GED Strong communication skills Must be self-sufficient. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Ability to complete DOT, ANSI Crane or Bucket and Dielectric tests highly desirable. Individuals with current crane and bucket certifications are preferred. Working Conditions The job is performed under extreme temperature variations and some hazardous conditions. Must be able to safely operate equipment at heights up to and exceeding 100 feet. Physical Requirements Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42”, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling throughout an 8-12-hour day, and up to 60 hours per week. Requirements: Must hold a valid driver's license. Must have your own tools.
