Job Purpose The Quality Control Analyst Chemist for Mikart, LLC is responsible for conducting analyses on various components, in-process materials and finished dosage forms. Essential Job Functions Document all analyses performed through the use of notebooks and official forms. Immediately report any anomalies to the Team Leader. Enter data into spreadsheet templates and verify accuracy by performing minimal manual calculations. Assure the accuracy of all data used for batch calculations. Conduct all operations in strict accordance with applicable regulations, guidance documents, SOPs and Mikart policies and procedures, including computer data acquisition and integrity policies. Assure that all laboratory areas and workspaces are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. Perform necessary cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation, as required. Maintain or request appropriate supplies and materials necessary to complete all assignments. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of all supplies and chemicals received and used. Maintain appropriate records of waste storage and disposal in accordance with Mikart procedures and appropriate regulations. Job Description Job Title :: Risk Control Analyst 3 Contract :: 12 Months Education, Certifications/Licenses: · Required: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or Engineering Related Work Experience: · Required: 4-8 years energy/utility experience or related risk management experience · Preferred: 5+ years in Energy Trading Risk Management Specific Skills & Knowledge: Required: · Strong attention to details and track record of creating accurate reports · Interact effectively with all levels in the organization · Ability to multi-task and prioritize work-flow · Ability to communicate effectively throughout entire organization · MS Word - intermediate proficiency · MS Excel - Advanced proficiency · Openlink ENDUR - intermediate proficiency Preferred: · Openlink ENDUR - Advanced proficiency · PowerBI - intermediate proficiency Responsibilities: · Analyzes, reconciles and reports daily position and P/L for market moves, day over day shift, and impact of changes to new and existing deals · Aggregates and reviews Daily Position Report (DPR) for accuracy, mark-to-market, valuation, liquidity, and operational risks · Performs Storage and FOM set-up deal entry and reporting · Ensures compliance with established risk management policies and procedures · Produces ad hoc reports for Risk Control, Accounting, Asset Management, Trading & Marketing management, and Traders · Engage commercial personnel in communications regarding portfolio drivers, valuation components and trade capture complications · Engage risk control leadership in portfolio composition, transaction performance, valuation issues and systemic testing/developmental needs · Collaborates with internal team members and accounting personnel to reconcile portfolio valuation issues and communicate resolution to mid and back-office leadership · Manages personal performance of daily reporting and risk metric consolidation within prescribed timelines · Responsible for driving results through execution of transaction level audits and thorough knowledge of portfolio composition and communication of performance drivers · Implements systemic testing and documentation of user-based testing and preparation of comprehensive desk process and procedural documentation · Supports regulatory reporting, FERC, Dodd-Frank, etc. · Performs monthly derivative reconciliation and tie outs with back-office accounting team
