We are seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to join our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of quality control throughout all phases of assigned projects as well as develop and maintain the quality control plan for assigned projects.

The Role
* Responsible for all aspects of quality control throughout all phases of assigned projects
* Develop and maintain the quality control plan for assigned projects
* Visit project sites routinely, performing inspections to ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements
* Prepare and submit quality control reports
* Communicate with internal and external leadership, escalating out of compliance work, safety, or quality control concerns
* Conduct quality control meetings as needed

Requirements
* 1-2 years of telecommunications construction quality control experience required (i.e. must have worked in a cable install/construction role for a cabling company, an electrician position where cabling projects were completed, ISP or OSP underground or aerial construction experience, etc.)
* Ability to travel daily to job sites in the area and open to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as needed
* Ability to develop an understanding of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes etc.
* Ability to learn how to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
* Ability to learn and understand OSHA safety requirements and NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Ability to lift and carry 70lbs consistently
* Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time
* Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in a technical field preferred. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB/PCBA inspection required.
Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
Experience with microscopic visual inspection.
IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.
Experience with ERP and PLM software systems.
Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions.
Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.

Position Objective:
The Quality Control Inspector will review device history records & document their work on the DHR. Inspect components utilizing inspection equipment. Visually and dimensionally inspect for conformance to specification while following written guidelines.

Perform visual and dimensional inspection on components and subassemblies utilizing various precision equipment.
Perform quarantine and receiving inspection of incoming raw materials, controlled manufacturing materials, machined components, labeling instrumentation, and packaging materials. Inspect for conformance to specifications.
