Chemistry Lab Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Chemistry Lab Technician to join our Analytical Chemistry team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analysis, Ethylene Oxide (EO) Residuals analysis using Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID), and ICP-MS for elemental analysis. This role involves preparing samples for analysis, performing analytical testing while ensuring accurate and reliable results, maintaining instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Chemistry Lab Technician Key Responsibilities:
Conduct TOC analysis for water and medical device testing.
Perform EO residuals analysis using GC-FID to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.
Utilize ICP-MS for trace metal analysis in pharmaceutical, environmental, or industrial samples.
Prepare and analyze samples according to SOPs and industry guidelines.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, including TOC analyzers, GC-MS/FID, and ICP-MS.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including logbooks, lab notebooks and LIMS following GDP requirements.
Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where applicable.
Support method development and validation for new analytical procedures.
Ensure compliance with FDA, USP, ISO, ICH, and other regulatory guidelines.
Chemistry Lab Technician Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Experience:
o Hands-on experience with TOC analysis or TOC analyzer.
o Proficiency in GC-MS/FID analysis (MS preferred but not required).
o Experience with ICP-MS (preferred but not required).
o Familiarity with sample preparation techniques and data interpretation.
Knowledge of GLP/GMP regulations and laboratory best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Chemistry Lab Technician Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a pharmaceutical, environmental, or industrial analytical lab.

Process Quality Assurance responsibilities cover a wide array of manufacturing areas and a broad variety of processes on inert and energetic materials.
The position will start on day shift and has the potential to move to rotating shifts.
In this job, you will:
Perform visual and final dimensional inspections to verify items are acceptable to the following requirements: Blueprints, CAD drawings, specification, Quality Procedures, and planning instructions.
Inspections are performed using calipers, depth micrometers, height gages, I.D. & O.D. micrometers and stationery and portable CMM's etc. on tight tolerance materials, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Use of Geometric Tolerancing to verify true positions, runouts, profiles, flatness, perpendicularity requirements.
Reviews data ensuring temperature/humidity requirements are met for in process and deliverable hardware.
Other duties as assigned
This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform chemical and gas container changeouts.
Perform chemical offloads.
Respond quickly to potentially critical situations, perform rapid and accurate situational assessments, and troubleshoot system components.
Review recommended operating procedures to ensure best practices are in place and documented properly.
Review, maintain, comprehend, and follow Work Plans, Sequence of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, P&IDs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Keep operational areas at a high level of operational readiness, housekeeping, organization, orderliness, and free of hazards.
Receive, stock, and deliver chemicals and gases.
Collect chemical system samples and deliver them to the lab.
Requirements:
Ability to be SCBA certified and clean-shaven.
Ability to be forklift certified on-site.
Experience with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments.
Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Proven ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
Physical Effort/Activities:

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Analyst position at its facility in West Jordan, UT. Ideal candidates will possess the following: - A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications

Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position and will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:30am - 6:00pm. The laboratory operates on weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
