All inspection personnel must maintain proficiency in the use of various types of inspection aids, tools and gages routinely used for inspection of each item undergoing inspection.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements in compliance with regulatory requirements. Complete maintenance logbooks and documentation accurately.
The inspector must ensure that all calibrated tools have current calibration and consumable materials being used are within their listed shelf life and have not expired.

Qualifications
Education:

Understanding of Mechanical Applications is a plus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the Quality Control process.
Determine what product is unacceptable and determine root cause, according to designated timelines.
Perform technical evaluation and validation of defects utilizing test equipment and visual inspection.
Create and maintain Corrective Action Reports and follow up on open items.
Ensure that all SAP information, Batch, quantity, correct SKU, are being entered accurately and on time.
Collaborate closely with internal staff and external customers to meet schedule requirements. Proactively follow up with all levels of management on special orders.
Requirements:
Knowledge of basic database reporting and data entry.
Technical competence to understand electronics products and components.
Ability to effectively use an SAP database for data entry and reporting.
Ability to work effectively team members and management.
Ability to meet tight and changing deadlines.
