Position Summary
We're seeking a QA/QC Technician to support project quality and performance through on-site inspections, documentation, and team coordination. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the company's high standards of consistency, accuracy, and safety.

What You'll Do
Conduct field inspections of underground systems, temporary power, switchgear, and equipment installations
Review project scopes and QA/QC expectations during kickoff meetings
Collaborate with field teams, general contractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with company and client standards
Use the QuickBase QA/QC App to record inspections, document issues, and manage nonconformance reports
Verify torque and megger testing results and closeout documentation accuracy
Promote best practices and consistency across projects
Support administrative and documentation tasks as needed
Travel to job sites, including occasional out-of-town projects

5+ years of experience in electrical construction (Foreman or Superintendent experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, QA/QC standards, and installation practices

Primary Purpose:

The quality control inspector undertakes the inspection of materials, components, and final products to confirm adherence to quality, regulatory, and engineering specifications. He/she works collaboratively with production departments to identify ways to continuously improve production quality. The quality control inspector may work independently or under direct supervision executing specific process steps under continuous quality review and coaching as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Works in a safe manner following all safety policies while performing job duties.
Undertakes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees by identifying any safety standards, procedures, or regulations that are not optimally addressed. Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns.
Follows work orders and instructions in order to accurately and efficiently review the preparation and assembly of building components based on production area specifications and regulatory requirements including HUD specifications.

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Field observation and testing during placement of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and sprayed-on fireproofing
+ Reporting of test results and site observations
+ Soil and concrete laboratory testing
**Required Skills/Experience:**
+ High School degree
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Possess good oral, written, communication, and organizational skills
+ Able to perform rudimentary mathematic computations
+ Attentive to detail
+ Interest in working outdoors on construction sites
+ Candidates must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds on an occasional basis and be physically able to negotiate construction sites, climb ladders and work outside
+ Construction experience is preferred but not required
